need help gear wise

have a winters quick change and im looking for a gear ratio for a 3/8th with a 377 any help would be greatly appreciated

On a 3/8th track with a 355ci on alky with 525 HP we would pull a 6.28 - 6.48 most nights so my best guess would be some where around 6.13 - 6.21 to start. On a 1/2 mile with the same motor were at 6.03.

What kind of rpm you want to turn? Is this a 4.86 R&P?

Yes in r&p and it it dosent matter right now i believe i have a 8800 chhip in it

What gear do you have in it now?
what rpm are you turning with that gear(and is it hitting the rev limiter)?
what rpm do you want to run?

Some simple math should get you close.

I'd say somewhere between a 6.30-6.45.
