I'm just getting finished installing motor and my RPM chip hasn't arrived yet. Will the engine fire and run without a chip in it? I'm running a MSD 7al-2. Thanks

MSD 7al-2 rev limiter question

Quick heads up what coil did you get for the box? If its the MSD 8201 or BlasterII/III, you want the MSD 8251 coil for BEST effort out of the box!!!!! The others need to be donated or returned, just a suggestion for getting the most out of your racing program!Pat Collins

The MSD 8251 coil is quicker firing & it can source more current out to the plugs than other coils out there. The last benefit it is a long duration coil, so what you start with when you roll off the trailer is the same performance that you have when you load the car back on the trailer at the end of the night.Pat Collins
