I've only tried the short bar once. Noticed my RR tire rubbed the frame some (on an '08). I may have not had it set properly. When using the short bar, how much lower are you mounting it on the frame side (assuming you are at least some)?

1in lower about 7 3/4 in.

Stop and go with tight corners?

Momentum track with long sweeping corners?

Tight corners dry slick

I'd go with the shorter of the two. the short bar will hike the car faster and tighten the car overall.

You should maintain side to side.

Not trying to disagree but the length of the J bar used is as much about driving style as it is anything else.

It's a combination of factors but a smoother driver often can run a shorter bar better than a guy who is on and off the gas like a on off switch. Some guys you think are on and off the gas can have bigger engines that have torque curves that hit like a sledge hammer. You have to look at the entire car, driver, engine, frt end, rack speed and car set up. If it was just a j bar, set up and shocks we would all be 3 angles and a shock package away from a feature win.
