Steelhead engine cost?

Would would it cost to build a top notch steel head engine? No titanium...Roller and No roller

I know a guy that spent nearly 25k on the best that a major engine builder had. Still had to get dry sump, carb ect.

With everything new your talking between 20k and 25k from a major engine builder.Not much difference in price between a roller and a flat tappet.About $1200.00 cheaper for stainless valves but you get less performance.
