Need to make shock props.. Ideas

Never bought and transported a car with no shocks and springs. What would you guys use to make dummy shocks and springs with for hauling a car a few hours? Thanks.

If you what the center to center should be get some 3/4" conduit flatten the ends and drill the ends.
