Just wondering how competitive everyone thinks the 604 would be in peoria in this class. Thanks in advance

There is one that had been finishing up in the top group for a few years. With the right set up it can be very competitive.

I guess it would also depend on your situation. If you need to buy a motor and plan to only run Peoria, something with more power would probably be the way. But for myself, I like options. With the 604, would there be other tracks you could race at (like Spoon River)? I think that's the benefit of UMP in our area (for SLM's). You can run just about everywhere. I still think with a decent driver and a decent car, a crate motor could be okay there.
