Do tracks in your areas charge a fee to use your own transponder?

    Waycross charges $5.

Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

If you use your own "lap timing system", no.
If you want to be scored during q'ing & racing, yes. $5.00
Don't know of anyone that owns their own transponder like the tracks require(yellow boxes). Heard they were pricey.

myself and most of my comrads own our little yellow boxes. Most tracks around south central PA mandate that you run one. If you don't have one, it's about $25/night to rent one.

I like the idea of the option and charging $5 to use your own. It seems a little counter productive though since it seems it would make the track personel's job easier if everyone had to have one....
