    09 Mastersbilt Smackdown Setup Sheet

Wondering if anyone has a setup book for this car they are willing to share as getting one directly from mastersbilt has proven to be impossible. Anyone willing to share I would greatly appreciate it as I am a beginner to Late model racing. Thanks, Shaun Usra Limited Late

I see this requested a lot and finally decided I would just put it on our web server for all to download. It isn't copyrighted or anything so hear you go:

I don't have anything specific to MBH but here is GenX:

There are some things on the GenX baseline setup that I disagree with. Particularly the LF spring recommendation. I'm under-powered with a crate motor but I don't know how anybody gets a car to turn with that much LF in it. I won't say what I'm on but it sure isn't 500.

I hear ya I don't think I even like what Rocket recommends on their super at 550..... I haven't been that high on anything but sometimes I just go off the baseline and slowly work away from it i'm 450 or below on most all LF except one or two i work on

I'm sure some of this comes down to driving style. I personally like to keep the car straighter and with a heavy left front you about have to be passing-yourself-sideways to get it to turn. At least that's been my personal experience. Mileage may very.

Smack and GenX are definitely completely different animals on front end setup.
