Bert Trans.???

I've been on the old 1st gen for 15 yrs in the latemodel. How are the 2nd clutchless ones? do I change to a brinn? I know how to rebuild berts and i'm down to no spare. I do run a little steel drive shaft. so buying a new carbon isn't a problem.

The newest gen 2 berts have been greatly improved over the preliminary gen2 builds. You can't beat the reliability of the gen 1 though.

The gen 2 is not clutch less though. It uses a different style of clutch which is essentially a auto trans band to drive initially .
