Fuel Log - Are they worth the extra money over dual lines?

In a gas car, 400-500HP, do I need a fuel log?

I can see the need for dual feed lines, that is about a $100 kit. I can spend $200 and get a nice fuel log that does the same thing.

Is the fuel log better for any reason? And worth spending the extra money now for?
