i have a oil cooler and my oil on a 10-15 lap run pegs the oil temp??? i have never had any trouble with oil temp??? i didnt even run a oil cooler last year??? i added 2 extra quarts because of adding the cooler?? lucas oil systhic 20-50?

Have you checked the actual level since adding the cooler and the extra 2qts? You may be over filled by a quart or so and churning the oil up now. Inspect the oil filter for debris from internal damage as this will cause high temps aswell.Josh K. -
If you run a wet sump, you may want to check the installed angle of the engine. It should be at five degrees down to the rear for proper oil drainage. You could have a windage problem. Check it!Comment
