The X member is also 1 5/8, just cutting that out and replacing will help but back then it required heavy surgery to get them consistent through out the night.Comment

They did do a wide front end in 2002, the lower control arms are 1" farther apart and had different geometry but the cars stayed pretty much the same from 95 to 2008 construction wise besides the over rail change in around 06 and some slight bar changes which were removed after the computer car deal.Comment

The 1st year for the computer car was 1996 thru 1997 by the next year they kind of quit pushing them, they also cost a additional $500.00.Comment

From what I've read on them they were ahead of their time. With the shock and spring packages along with technology today it would fit right in with the newer carsComment
