Leaf Springs

I have heard guys say they take their leaf springs apart and lubricate them after every race. Has anybody else ever tried this? What kind of lubricant do you use?

I've tried it ,Thought it was a big waste of time after doing it.You would want to use a dry film lubricant as any grease will pack with dirt.

I did that for years, but not every week. I'd take them apart, sand them down smooth, paint them, used grease out of the gun, & duct tape them to keep them as clean as possible. I never had a problem doing it that way.
