I know everybody uses a r/f shut off, but I always have trouble with them. When you hit the brakes and have 600psi of line pressure the shut off will bleed a little bye. After doing this for several laps the r/f will start dragging.
I went to a caliper with a small piston and then added a lever style proportioning valve.

This allows any bleed thur that might happen from the ball valve and will return the pressure thru the one way valve and keep the RF from applying.
