1974 Ford LTD hobby stock, looking for setup advice.

A buddy of mine got a 74 ltd hobby car for 100 bucks, just getting into racing. I was looking for what all setup stuff can be done; move mounts, rear arms, panhard bar ect. to this car to make it more driveable.

also, approx spring rates on this car.

Looking into a 351 or small block 400 ford for a powerplant, but could also use direction on that kind of stuff too.

use a 351 windsor try to set the engine as far back as you can,
