What gear should I run at Florence? Pure stock division.

    Thanks for any help.

Depends on your motor and what you want to run. I know guys running anything from 5.43 to 6.00s. I'd say a .67 or .83 would be pretty good.

it really depends on your motor and where you like to run, i have a 355, with a 583 gear, and run anywhere from 6000 to 6500 rpm, and it seems to work great everywhere on the track, but some people like to run 600 gear to keep the rpm's up. and i do race at florence so im tellin you about my experince at someother track. hope this helps

        Thanks for your help

Our local track may not open so I need to find somewhere else to take my son to start racing.

Thanks for your input. We have a 600 in it now and will put some tall tires on it for now. I'm sure he will just cruise being a first timer. Lol
