i didnt know, that why i asked a question, since you are the only one answering i assume no one else knew the answer. How did you determine its a gen 1 block ?

You should be able to find a parts breakdown of the shortblock you're looking at that has casting numbers for all the parts.

If you can find the casting number of the block (should be 10243880 or 10105123 if I remember right), it is a Gen 1 block.
