Getting Sponsors???

I posted this earlier in the week over in another section but never got a response. SO i was curious how do you guys obtain sponsors? I mean from someone other than your related to. Do you have something types up like a resume?

Yes you need to type up a racing resume. It helps if you are able to run up front but is not a big deal if you dont. Its more about where you will be racing, how often you will be running, the amount of space you can provide them for there logo, the condition you keep your car in....AND the attendence numbers for the tracks you will be racing at.

You have to show them what they are getting for there advertising dollars. Eric

Thats kinda what i was thinking, i guess you can call the track office to get their average attendance.

i sent out about 50 emails this week to various company and i was surprised at the number of response i received. Now i just need to get my paper work snail mailed and see what they are willing to give.
