It sounds like roller cams 4 barrel high rise intakes and alum heads are the norm.

My Cali boy runs a nova at outlaw and wants to run it. He's the guy that the saying NO FEAR came from .

He's running stock vortec heads and a flat tappet cam. Won't need to turn over 7000. So the 5.83 would be the choice?
