    Richmond 2 Speed vs. Powerglide?

For a 3200 lb. street stock, what would be a better transmission. I know the Richmond is lighter but it costs more, but everyone I run with either has a Powerglide or 3-Speed Saginaw, and the Powerglides are winning more than the three speed. Also, the Richmond transmission only needs clutched on initial take off, but you can clutchless shift when in motion, right?

No one around hear uses autos there old hard to find and expensive to rebuild. Most use saggy 3 speeds because there cheaper but there all old and only good for so much hp. If richmonds are legal thats what I would go with.
