More Metrics than camaro's now?

Been out of dirt racing for some time now. It seems that the Metric cars are much more prevelant now than in years past. For you guys that have been around the last 10 years has the Metric technology caught up with the camaro? used to be that the metricscouldn't run with the camaro's. Have guys moved away from the Camaro due to availability? I see several post regarding camaro v/s metrics.I have a camaro I am building (was a chassis I had years ago). Is it time to retire the camaro and go metric?

I would love to run a camaro, but all the tracks around me are IMCA and they don't let us run camaro's or mustangs

Both are maxed out, big move going to the Novas now.
