has anybody drilled a steel wheel 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern to chevy 4 3/4?would this be considered a safe move?have a chance to get some wheels very cheap,but dont want to mix and match bolt patterns.heard it was ok to redrill.just looking for some opinions.thanks in advance.

I know people that have egged out 4 3/4 wheels to 5x5 and seemed to have no problems. Would I do it? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But thats just me.
