4 link to 3 link

Had the right upper trailing arm mount crack open the housing and go part way inside the rear end. Welded it up and changed to a 3 link. What a difference in the car, more side bite and more forward bite. Had to make some changes that I was unsure what would happen. Took RF from a 900# spring to a 1000# spring: LF from a 800# spring to a 1100# spring: LR from a 13" 250# to a 13" 200# spring: RR from a 13" 200# to a 13" 250# spring. Left the lower trailing arms in stock mounting holes, there are almost level on both sides. Weights are with driver: LF 830#: RF 756#: LR 959#: RR 756#.Ride heights: LF 7 5/8", 8# air: RF 6 1/2", 14# air: LR 9 1/8", 8# air: RR 8 1/4", 12# air.The car has a push going in the turn, not real bad but still a push so it cannot be drove very deep into the turn. The last time that I tried raising the RF ride height, the car had a very horrible push in. Do not have another front spring unless I go to a 1300# spring. Running 1 1/2" stagger in the rear and 1/2" across the front. RF camber - 4. LF +2. The car does have good side bite and forward bite.Any other changes to help the push would be welcome.

Change RR spring back to 200 or 225, depending on how much you need to loosen entry.

Where did you put the panhard bar?

Also, make sure suspension isn't bottoming out on the right side. You have reverse tilt in the car.

Reverse tilt is what all the others in our class are running, from the slowest to the fastest. The suspension is not bottoming out but is close to that. The panhard bar is level and has to the right side of the car behind the rearend and has to be at least 28" long. There is too much right side travl with the lighter spring, using a 13" there now and the 225 is an 11" spring. The jack screw for the RR is backed all the way off and the LR is down about 3".

How much rear stagger are you running?

1 1/2" across the rear. Was told today that I needed at least 3". With the 4 link, anything over about 3/4" was to loose.
