different track rules

Question, one track says battery ONLY in the trunk. Two other tracks say battery in the stock location, or inside driver compartment. it's currently in the trunk, don't like the idea of a bucket of acid sitting next to me even if it is bolted down. what do you guys do about conflicting rules between tracks?
