Gear suggestion

I was wondering if someone can give me suggestions on gears. We run at a 3/8 track. In my old car I use to run 6.83 but didn't have nearly the motor I have in the new car and I'm afraid of overturning the motor with the 6.83. The new car has a 434 with a lighten crank. I was thinking about running 6.50. Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

what redline are you going to see for the motor

A 6.00-6.20 should get you to about 7000 rpm.

That's about where I wanted it to redline at. My other car redline between 6000-6500 but wasn't nearly built like this one.
