Ok....here we go. I am putting together a street stock together. the rules say: must run a Rochester 2g Maximum Venture opening is 1.250, 325 cfm, cast iron 2bbl intake, any cast iron 23 degree straight plug allowed, racing fuel is ok, no cam rule. must weight in at 3300 with driver, but this car is heavy at 3600. I have a 350 4 bolt ready for parts. I done some research and read the with a restricted motor(I.E. small carb and intake) a 355 is more efficient, but I have a heavy car and a 383 should have more torque. I have a marine 2bbl intake from Brzezinski, and plan on running GM performance vortec heads. not sure on what to build, any help will be helpful. Thanks.
Street stock build 355 or 383?
