Toss the brake caliper o-rings?

I'm installing new Afco rear calipers and noticed that the mounting bolts drag as they go through the snug o-rings. My old car came with the o-rings removed and the calipers felt very free. If they rattled, I never noticed. Do I leave the o-rings in place or remove them? Thanks.

take them out.

I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.
