    Ford 9' non-floater drum to disk conversion..tips?

Anyone ever done the drum to disk brake swap on a Ford 9' with bolt in axles? I see a few kits on Ebay that says you can do it, but I don't see it worth $300. Anyone done this on their own?

Get the rotors from Wilwood or Speedway, like 25 ea, slide over studs, mount a metric caliper in a weld on bracket with new pads. Apply pressure to the caliper to center it in the bracket and on the rotor and with pressure applied, weld the bracket to the tube. All done. Brackets are $10 so should be able to do it all for around $75
