imca stock 58in or 60in rear?

I've been looking to buy an imca stock and have noticed that they all seem to come with 60in rear end. Now I used to have a metric modified and it required a 58in rear end so I'm confused as to why a metric mod and metric I stock wouldn't both use the same length rear? Is there an advantage to a 60in rear?

60in rear is a common sized ford rear......you can allways make up the difference with wheel offset

I ran a 58" rear in my metric, most common would be 60", like said above, can play with offset to get the wheel tracking where you want it.
