I've seen big weight placed in drivers door area and just wondered if anyone new the reason for it. I believe its more of an old school thing but know cars winning lots of races setup like that today. Thanks

Definitely not a place I would want to have a big block of weight at. -
More left side weight will loosen the setup. If they are running high rear% they will need to loosen it up so one way to do that is go up on the left side weight as well. Is all a balancing act.
