I've noticed some mods run lead in their rf would this be worth it in a stock car ?

Yes, but no real way to do it without turning the stub, which is hard to do on a full frame car. You can if you're allowed aftermarket lowers use a heim on the mounting ends. but this is not as easy because as you pull the RF forward you change your ackerman settings which introduces other variables
