Coil spring pocket retainer "the widget"

I have a 3,000 pound, full frame 3 link car, I have a widget weight jack assembly laying around. Would there be any benefits to running it over a conventional swivler weight jack on a car that heavy? Are they made for the left rear only to hold the spring under roll, or do they work in the front as well?

Ahh, that makes more sense. Would you recommend putting one on the left rear of my car? Both springs on top of the rearend.

Is it a good idea to run swivel jacks on the rear also?
