Just wondering if any one can tell me what the preferred spring size is? we run 11" in the front and 12" in the ready. but for some reason it always looks like everyone else sits up alot higher. are they running 12" in the front and 13" in the rear?

All you are really comparing visually is how the body is mounted on the car. You would need to know a-arm and trailing arm angles to know what springs they are running.
Mounting the body higher is a good thing on a hobby stock where you cant add ballast. Moving the weight up will improve side bite. Eric
