Shock preferences

What's everyone's opionon on shock brands, linear, disgressive, gas or? (Which corner works the best with which?) 3200 lbs SS, DOT tires,

It depends what you like in a car.If you like a real stable car a disgressive gas shock is a good choice.If you want a car that is active a twin tube linear is a good choice.I run gas shocks and switch between linear and disg. depending on what the car wants.

I build my own shocks, when most shock guys find out you just want to buy some shims or pistons they don't want to talk to you.BSB was very friendly and helpful and sold me whatever I wanted.
