need some help finding cam

I have a 2700cc motor big valve ported and polished head holley 500 carb solid lift head. Car weight is about 2350 with driver in it the track is a fast 1/4 mile high bank dont loose many rpm in the turns please help quick need to order racing starts in a couple weeks . I have about 500 to spend thanks

If you are looking for an over the counter cam I would recommend a Crane .580 or .608 roller cam.Lots of top end power.

With the info you provided the only one that should be able to direct you is the one who ported the head. Flow numbers on your head and intake will be what determines your starting point for a cam. If you trust your porter then trust his recommendation. Hope that helps. If you got the head already ported, then take it to a top notch porter and he can flow it and help you out.
