need help

i have a 97 nissan 200sx with sr20de motor i recently rebuilt we got it back and the car and it will start but i have to keep the rpms at about 3 grand or it cuts out and dies.i put a new fuel filter on it and still had the same issue.any ideas?

Really sounds like a vacume leak,either at carb or intake manifold.

I agree with the vacuum leak ... but if it's injected, check your fuel pressure regulator, too.

it is fuel injected.do you think the leak would be from a intake gasket or a vaccum line?

i have been looking all over the last couple days and i cant find a vaccum diagram for anything.anyone know a good website to get one?

thanks to all i got the vacuum fixed but it decided to break a couple valve shims got new ones on the way
