Picking up an 91 Escort 1.9 flywheel today. What starter number is the correct one to use on a 2.3? 3148 or 3191 ??? Thanks for the help.

Depends on what trans you have, the 3191 fits the T5, 87-93. Just had to buy one, $49.99 @ autozone.

i have used the ranger starter off a 92 for the same flywheel with no problem and the starter off a mustang with the 2.3 with no problems also
