Ford 2.3 Turbo Question

we picked up a 1982 Mustang with a Turbo 2.3 in it,however this is 1 ive never seen before,it has a Pinto exhaust manifold,and the turbo is on the intake side...any ideas if this is stock or aftermarket? it is also mated to an automatic transmission.

cuz 79-82 is carbd turbo junk. aint worth nothin

i agree with bopartt about stock stuff but if you have the manifold ported to the max with a 500 cfm carb and have someone who knows how to build turbos working on it then it could be pretty good. it all depends on your rules.
