MSD Blaster SS Coil

Can anyone out there help with and ignition question? I am wondering if there are any issues running a MSD Blaster SS coil part # 8207 with a stock ignition on a 2.3L Ford motor? Is the stock distributor current limiting or do I need to run the MSD series resistor? Thanks for your input. CJ

I use an all OEM stock TFI dist. with the MSD 8227 blaster TFI coil on my 2.3L, never had any problems.

Stock tfi and coil for me. That MSD stuff is made in China.
