Do NOT use the stock Mustang flywheel to crank bolts!!!
They will appear to torque up properly, but the shoulder contacts the crank before they truly tighten up on the flywheel. It will end up coming loose, and probably breaking the bolts
Get the bolts from the Escort, new if at all possible. '91 - '96 1.9L are all the same.

Also I had to get my Escort Flywheel bolts from a Ford dealer. I could not get them from a parts store.Originally posted by jatchis View PostDo NOT use the stock Mustang flywheel to crank bolts!!!
