    clutch help

Im trying to run with an escort flywheel(94) and stock mustang pressure plate and disc. I bought the 72 chevy tob. the problem im having is when i push in the clutch pedal the fork is not staying in the tob groove and its binding up. So i bought a new fork thought maybe old one was wore out but it still does the same thing. I lost two night of racing this past weekend ANY Help would be greatly appreciated

How is the fit on the transmission? make sure the bearing slides free over the input of the transmission

everytime i have ran that setup i have had to extend the ball that the clutch fork slides onto. dont kno excatly but i would say anywhere from a inch or 2 longer.
