It may fit, but good luck hooking ANYTHING up, Im sure CV shafts are totally different in spline and lengths, and all the wiring harness connections as well. Be cheaper and much easier to buy another car.

did the escort with the 2.0 pinto engine use a diesel transaxle? the ONLY person i have ever seen post on here about the 2.0pinto/escort combo is dodge22. do you have a secret id boportt?

thare is a guy that ran out hear that did it idk what tranny he used a 2300 w. a pinto pan prolly cuz the front sump wuld make more sence turning left wuld put all the oil in the rite spot.

Use your head and out a 2.0 seabring motor in it! then its manufacture correct!

I know you can stuff a Modern neon/Eclipse/seabring 2.0 in them! takes some time and fab work!
