head studs

i have a ford 2300 head milled down to the intake bolt holes should i stud it or can i use reg head bolts . thank you ed

stud it or u gotta shortin teh bolts or u gotta use hardend washers

Studs are by far the best option but you can use the stock head bolts with out any problems.Just make sure the bolts are not bottoming out.I like to use metric steel washers on the stock bolts,eliminates any chance of bottoming out.
