can anybody explain what the diffence is between a 2.3 4 speed clutch fork and a 5.0 4 speed clutch fork. they look the same to me. mine broke and i can find one anywhere but the jy.

Either fork should have a ford part # stamped on it somewhere, I dont know if they are interchangeable or not.

Clutch fork

Could be wrong, but I believe the T5 fork pivot point is on the driver's side of the bell, where the other one pivots from the passenger side. Or vice versa, can't remember.
