    2.3 EFI Intake gutting

Anyone know how far the EFI Intake can be cut down into the runners before you hit the water jacket?

a ton. and if you hit the jacket you can just TIG the hole or even jb weld it, or just block off the water port at the head and you won't have to worry at all. get a couple intakes and max out one until it's thru, then just back off the grinding, then you'll know the exact point of no return.

I usually block off the water jacket anyways. I only have one to work with and was worried about going through the wall into the jacket and then having to figure out what to do next. Our rules say that we can cut the runners down up to an inch. So... hence the question.

I was thinking about removing EVERYTHING down about 3/4". Starting the turtle at that point.

More is always not better. I have one that was cut and flow tested. You can stop by sometime and see what mine looks like.
