Valves springs getting weak at 2 races

2.3 Ford engine with 500 + lift flat tappet cam after 2 races 4 of 8 valve springs measured 60 lbs. Started with 110. Dave I think I remember you giving name of Company that had good springs. I think most of warehouses are buying offshore. Don't mind paying good price but tired of buying crap at higher prices. Any help would be appreciated. Robert

Robert........ Use Peterson American Company (PAC) valve springs. www.racingsprings.com . The spring wire is produced in the U.S. & wound @ the PAC facility in the U.S. They have no off-shore facilities! Open the billfold a touch wider & they'll even nitride them for you. I've used their 'beehives' a number of years on my 2.0L roller cams, up to .550"+ net lift. -Dave-

Thanks guys. Will make my next purchase from one of these. We used some old Crane Springs that had been on a head for 15 years and were still good. Robert
