has anyone ever ran 205 70 14s on a neon? if so what did you have to do to get them to fit? is there a way to modify the strut? or use a wheel spacer?

Never ran them on our car but off the top of my head, Take an old rotor cut the hat off cheap spacer, Jetta wheels have more of an offset I believe, You will have to beat the perch on the strut up to clear the taller tire. -
why would you run such a tall tire? I'd run 205/60/14's on a neon and they fit fine with lots of clearance.
never use wheel spacers, that's just asking for problems. you're better off getting rims with correct offsetComment
