has anyone ever seen the collector on a schoenfeld header develop ridges or humps after in has been run awhile. this collector was smooth and straight when new and after about 1 year it has about two or three humps or ridges that go all the way around the collector.

Are you using header wrap. Definite NO - NO. Also is your exhaust supported behind the header and behind the muffler. If the exhaust is moving and you get the header / colletor real hot it can do that. Then again it may be just be an unusual piece of tubing.
