    Ford rear end question

Got a complete 7.5" ford rear end (327 gear) from an '85 GT. I took the cover off it & it has a center section like I havent seen in the past. Its only open on 1 side of the carrier and has what looks like small springs (4 of them parallel to the axles, but mounted inside the center with the spider gears on a separate bracket) and the rearend acts like its locked. Is this a limited slip? Posi? Factory locker? I have no idea what I have here, any info is appreciated.

Wow, thats good news for me then, I paid $50 for the entire rearend!
Is that price for the entire carrier (as pictured) or JUST the peice in the center?

I have used a limited slip on a high bank high grip track and really liked it. Car seemed more free down the long straights. They would last me around 2 years from my experience.
