Whats the pros and cons to using a piston with 2 rings?

If you're primary consideration is to reduce the parasitic drag & TQ/HP loss from the ring package, use a .043" top/.043" Napier 2nd/low-tension 1/8" or 3mm oil ring. And have (8) lateral gas ports machined into the top ring land. That combo will keep the oil out of the chambers, which further reduces TQ/HP. -Dave-
